^-^ yay! some fun Messengers today.. spoke with the loverly
claireredding (oh no.. she knows now how truly hopeless and pathetically obsessive I am! lol) & I just spoke with my brother in California.. who was asking me 'why are you up so late?' doh! talking to you silly!

Ok, I've been on a rant about the annoying coworker.. who went on vacation and stuck me with her work - with like 1 day notice, despite the fact she knew about her vacation for weeks. Oh well - I was a bit more peeved today to find out that... >.< She apparently is coming into work on Wednesday, but taking Thursday off (I assumed she was off all this time to visit her family)~ oh so I am convinced, she does look to see when her boss has these meetings scheduled, and plans to take those days off. Well I did talk to my coworker about it, and she pretty much echoed every feeling I had. Also, this gals boss sort of ranted to me about her, and he can't rely on her to do things right.. I didn't really jump in and agree or anything.. Leigh is giving me good advice though - I need to not be a gossipy coworker- he is pointing me towards more constructive avenues.. I don't want to become some whiny petty coworker - so I really need to learn to take it in stride-

And what a lovely thing! Leigh was donating some spare coins he had to the Church food ministry - and he had a bunch of them in this plastic jug. He found it hard to get the coins out of the jug 'spout' so he cut it in half. OMG! He was emptying out the coins and there was his wedding ring! O.o ok, mind you, I had no clue he had lost it some 6 months past (Leigh often doesn't wear his ring, because he is always working with machinery, etc.. OH NOW NOW STOP THAT! LOL REALLY)
He was so excited.. how cool is that..

Yay for finding wedding rings! That reminds me of what happened to my Mom last Halloween... She was dressed as a "gypsy" type thing, so she had all this jewelry, and because one ring she wanted to wear would only fit on her ring finger, she moved her diamond wedding ring to her pinky. I wasn't there when it happened, but she told me that sometime during the night, after giving out candy to many little kiddies, she looked down and there was no ring. She was panicked about how maybe it had accidentally come off in one of the kids' candy bags, but it turns out it was just at the bottom of the bowl she was distributing the candy from.

Needless to say, she heard a lot from my stepdad about it. >_

^0^ Good for your Mom!

I lost the diamond engagement ring part of my wedding band about 6-7 years ago. Leigh wasn't angry about thank goodness.. It would be nice if I could find it again some day.

I have replaced it with a $10 Avon faux diamond ring.. *laugh* Leigh's ring, however, belonged to my Grandfather (it came from Greece)-so I'm happier he found his.
