Ready Steady Go! [Jan. 31st, 2012|07:49 am]
I thought this was an appropriate image for me - this old dinosaur plans to go see L'arc at Madison Square Garden.

If any of you guys are going, where will you be staying? I have tickets & Leigh is interested in going! **yay** Haven't made hotel arrangements yet

Silly :P ! (Your first image) I look at it this way ~ I'm closer to hyde's age than most of the fans. Now, on to *looking* close to the age hyde *appears*. Beloved Vampyre.

Yeay! I'm so happy you're going♥

Where're you coming from? What are you gonna do? What are you going to wear :D ?

For myself, I got a ticket for Madison Square Garden, but I'm torn. I was wondering about Hawaii vs New York, then I ran into a friend yesterday ~ at Kinokuniya, no less ~ and she's choosing Hawaii. At first, I didn't even realize there was a public concert in Hawaii, I thought there was only the fan club concert and that you might have to do a lottery, even for that. I confess I haven't invested in being a fan club member, so far. I haven't even looked into whether they've confirmed the Hawaii date, yet.

In New York's favor, you know they're going to be excited and pushing the envelope, at Madison Square Garden. Tetsu said that while others in Japan dreamed of playing the prestigious venue, there, Madison Square Garden has always been his dream. And I just read a translation of an interview where hyde was saying how he's nervous and excited about MSG!

I have to decide soon, of course, to make good travel arrangements. I have no idea how where to go or stay, in either city.

Thanks for asking this question!

(One thing I *was* thinking of, was Alex Streeter, in New York. But I wonder if the artist, himself, will be in NYC, for the L'Arc concert. I see on his public blog that he's been in AZ, at his new store, there.)

And Yeay! I actually got a notification of a post of yours. I realized yesterday, that I haven't received notice for any but a couple of your posts, in forever. For some reason, I had to remove your journal and put it back on my list, to do it.

I am thinking of the Hotel Kitano. I have a free night anywhere that hotels.com books and I'd like to use it somewhere really nice. Or... I have enough travel points to do any of the Holiday Inn chain hotels. We've stayed a couple in NYC and liked them.

I'm thinking of arriving on the 24th and staying thru the 26th.

The concert is March 25th -

Do you have any suggestions for a good hotel near MSG? Friends from the UK are staying at The New Yorker Hotel - another friend is wondering about Hotel Kitano

It would be awesome to meet you !

New Yorker Hotel is popular...very centrally located, big etc. It's not GORGEOUS but its safe and clean and very well established. I don't know about fees. I don't know hotel Kitano.

My parents have stayed in Red Roof Inn http://www.oyster.com/new-york-city/hotels/red-roof-inn-manhattan/map/

and Comfort Inn which are smaller hotels in Korea Town (around 35thnd and 6th). http://www.city.com/info-7074980/comfort-inn-manhattan-new-york-ny/

They meet the basics...clean room, good location, not too expensive.

keep me posted on your details so we can meet up! You will like Korea town (its just a couple streets). Lot's of Asian food (but not much good Japanese food)

I'm really glad you're going to NY :D I'm planning on going too, so see you there~ As for hotels, I'm looking at the New Yorker since it is really close to MSG, and it seems to have pretty good ratings as well :)
