(*´∀`)ノ゙♪♪♪★★ Anniversary time [Oct. 9th, 2009|10:17 am]
[Current Mood |gratefulgrateful]

It's hard to believe that today marks our 27th Wedding Anniversary 3 years ago today, I met with my surgeon who started me on the way to health after my ulcer surgery nightmare - appropriately, Leigh & I were at the doctor's office today - that's right, this girl knows how to party!
I had an endometrial scraping procedure done O_o Holy Moly, I wasn't expecting it to be so bloody painful!

I've been truly blessed~
my health challenges have actually brought us closer together-I think
that is rare, many relationships collapse because of such things.

While watching any type of bride/wedding shows with my Mom, we both wondered why every dress we saw was strapless. Is it a new trend? I never liked wearing strapless garments - I think it's an unflattering style for a lot of people, so I wonder why it's so prevalent.

I didn't inherit any sewing skills, but I was very lucky growing up. My Mom made me many beautiful outfits. ^_^

having a marriage not just survive illness, but become stronger is truly a rare occurrence. Congratulations to both of you and best wishes for many more happy and joyous years together.^_^)Y

and for you, i hope that you will continue to grow strong and finally get a respite from the long nightmare. 8)

as one who has oft walked those corridors too, i empathize with all you have gone through. be glad you have had such a good supporting mate. lonely hospital stays can actually be even lonelier sometimes.

wow you have been married one year less than my parents! (although my parents are a whole lot older, lol )
Congratulations on your anniversary, and many more to come!
I hope that soon you will be fully healed! I am always thinking and praying for you!

I have actually had that procedure before. Did they put you to sleep for it? I always thought they did, but I wasn't sure if you meant the procedure hurt, or if it hurt after.
I hurt for about 3 days after mine.

The procedure was done in my ob/gyn's office - I didn't get any type of sedative. I really wish I had brought my pain puppy "Musher" along- it really really hurt during the procedure - maybe it would have hurt less if I didn't have endometriosis, or perhaps I'm just a wimp ...

Prayers & good thoughts back at ya!

wow, 27 years... it must be such a great feeling to be walking together with someone on the same path for so many years. And he took you by the hand, when you started to get out of breath...
the both of you make me believe that true love actually is possible after all. I hope that I'll be able to find that someday too. ^^

I'm sorry for being late, but I too want to give you my sincere congratulations. *huggiez*
This picture is really sweet and I'm glad you belong to those people, who were able to get closer together despite all the hard times. It's so true that a lot of people would end up in a break up...´
I'm glad you didn't! And I'm wishing you much more happy years of being happy together!
