Some of you may know that I made an attempt to send Hyde (via L'arc en ciel fanclub) a wonderful painting that my Dad made - sadly, they returned my package
because all foreign fans are related to the unabomber I had thought of sending the painting to a friend in Japan & have them send it for me - but I never got around to it & I no longer belong to the Larc fanclub If anyone has any good ideas on how I could get this to Hyde, please let me know
I was tickled to read miya_fangirl's report on going to the 6/16 Vamps live in Sapporo - such a lucky gal, she always manages to get in the front row! ^-^ It was encouraging to read that there were a lot of fanboys in the audience - I'm not trying to be anti-feminist, but I think having an all girl fanbase kinda ruins a rock star's street cred, if ya know what I mean.
Thanks to 3 months on daily IV nutrition (1800 calories) I've hit the 110 lb mark. I feel pretty comfortable at this weight & don't really want to gain any more. If I go off of TPN, I don't think I'll be able to maintain a 1800 calorie a day intake - but we'll see. I've discovered that if I don't eat any food, I am relatively pain free ha! such a solution to my pain dilemma
I admit to relying on my TPN - I don't have much of an appetite, so it is easy for me to go without eating - but TPN is crazy expensive
I am going to a friend's wedding on Saturday, so I had to go out and buy a bra Lol! My chest & butt disappeared when I was at my sickest - and under 90 lbs. While my hernia sticks out farther than my boobs do, it was nice to find a bra. The woman measuring me said "Are you wearing a bra?"
I replied no & she scowled and lectured me on the importance of wearing one.. Funny, when I was last in the hospital in the beginning of this month, the X-ray technician told me to take off my bra - when I told her I wasn't wearing one she was a bit startled & said "Good for you!" hahahah that tickled me for some reason.
Today I saw my hematologist & again the nurses commented on how tiny my arms are. My hemoglobin was 10.8 today - considering that I've had 4 treatments of IV iron (and normal hemoglobin levels are 12 and higher) that gives me an indication of how really anemic I must be. I had my first shot of aranesp today & I'm curious to see how if it makes a difference.
