|My life - I'm waiting for the unplugged/acoustic version

I've been on TPN (IV nutrition) for a month now, and I've tried to get used to doing things while sporting a TPN filled backpack - tripping over the IV lines are sometimes a challenge - but my BMI has gone from a woeful 15.4 to a 17.2 (which still labels me as underweight)
Unfortunately, my hemoglobin levels are diving, from 8.5 last week to
8.1 this week. This labels me as severely anemic, but there is nothing like a good old bloodletting! My visiting nurse is nervous because they keep instructing her to take copious amounts of blood from me for a gazillion tests.
My general doc wanted me to go to the ER and get a blood transfusion; thankfully, my surgeon didn't think a transfusion was necessary - he explained to my nurse that I have a history of chronic anemia & this will be treated by my TPN.
Oh, the pesky staph infection. I was getting vancomycin 2 hours each day, and yesterday the infectious disease doctor had it increased to 4 hours, 2 times a day - I'm a klutz and find walking & chewing gum at the same time a challenge - ha! you should see me trying to putz around with a backpack and an unwieldy IV pole with dicky wheels..it's a riot.
I saw this in the local news - hrmmm will there be photos of
Vice Prez Biden wearing speedos? *cackles*
