I've been trying to be more diligent about cooking (and eating~) since I got out of the hospital. I went to the bookstore to buy Vegan with A Vengence . >.> My only problem is that I tend to procrastinate by daydreaming and thumbing through cookbooks, imagining cooking this, oh wait no - I'll cook that~ and back and forth again. I had a good trip to a local fruit market & found a huge bunch of basil for $2.99 ^-^ I ended up finally with dinner:
roasted potatoes with garlicky green beans & mushrooms with Pesto
tortillas with mushrooms, peppers & Tofurky© phillysteak
I know some people are organized and shop with menus planned ahead - but I rarely ever do.

I usually don't watch 60 minutes, but I wanted to see the Felicity Huffman interview because her role in TransAmerica looks so incredible. 60 minutes interviewers always make me want to reach into the screen & slap them silly...and this was no exception.
I have a new found love for Ms. Huffman:
Huffman has two little girls, but gives a surprising answer when asked if motherhood is the best experience in her life.
"No, no, and I resent that question," Huffman says. "Because I think it puts women in an untenable position, because unless I say to you, 'Oh, Lesley, it's the best thing I've ever done with my whole life,' I'm considered a bad mother. And just when I said no you, you went back."
^0^ Enjoyed chatting this weekend with friends in Japan (Thanks Katie & Diana) and spoke to my friend Risa in Hiroshima... we were talking about the wanwan chans (>.< Franc & Tasha were alive when she was here - they loved her! Sally did too )
