Today I went up to the Japanese bookstore in search of paper notebooks that Leigh is quite fond of. Sadly, there was a sign on the door saying the store would be closed til further notice, and the young clerk at こやましょてん said the owner passed on Monday. He seemed like such a dear man. It's not like we talked a lot, but there aren't many non-Japanese customers there, so he would remember be. Sometimes I think we live in a time where people are too busy to stop and notice the people who are part of their routine-
Today ran high on my ditz-o-meter.. I kept getting lost. There is nothing more embarrassing then the ability to get lost on your way home - Yes, my sense of direction is really that bad **cries**
Just think of this: At least you getting lost hasn't gotten to the point of becoming a family in-joke. >>;; My parents buy me SO many things from the skater "LOST" brand. They think it's funny. >\ Because because ONE TIME I was going from Moreno Valley to Riverside (which... are right next to each other... :X) and ended up fifteen miles from the Mexican border. :X

Such wise words :D I'm sorry to hear about the store owner... I think I don't notice all the people that I see everyday but if one of them disappeared, there'd be a huge gaping hole where they once were. That's why we can't take one day for granted ^_^
Uh... *nod* I guess you're right. We mostly recognize what we had when it's lost and it's the same about people. One hardly pays attention on the outer world nowadays. That's at least what I do think and I guess it's somewhat sad... . *sighs* But don't worry: I manage to walk into the wrong direction when I'm just three streets away from my home. *drop*
oh wow... *blinks in awe* I dont get to see many artsy Laruku pics... but these... chapeau, like they say here! Simply gorgeous.
I always get sad when people I know even through a hello pass away... not because I will miss them, since I dont know them enough for that. But because I think, there goes another human life... and theyre are very few that it will matter for, really. Abrupt or peaceful, death is never expected, but then those who were stuck by it are eventually forgotten. I just hope that man had a peaceful death, thats the best one could hope for. It's sad though... life.
