3nails+cross = 4gvn [May. 31st, 2004|03:16 pm]
I found it interesting to see a "Pro Jesus" bumper sticker that seemed to be in text message format 3nails + cross = 4gvn ahh I think God would deserve better placement then on a bumper sticker.. but oh well

Forgiveness.. I'm a huge fan! lol - and I was very intrigued by this radio show I heard while half asleep
sacrifice & reconciliation Perhaps if people would follow this ideal, we would be less interest in killing each other all the time..

The day after tomorrow... I am hearing talk about this movie - and it makes me wonder . There are words in Japanese for the day after tomorrow & the day before yesterday like asatte (day after tomorrow) ototoi (day before yesterday) ... Many of my friends here.. you speak other languages..
do you have words for that in your language??

*-* I had the chance to speak with caffineaddict ^0^'
& way to go for crimson_fantasy who met Tetsu twice ..
ahhh well thank you for being a good fan representative..

Longwinded is my middle name.

Ken is such a rockstar. *smacks him on the butt*

also, I think I saw a picture of student!Hyde in your lj once; it's a circular close-up of Hyde's face, and he looks all cute and happy (how deceiving appearances can be, right?). do you still have it? I was telling thewriter0 about it recently, and I'd love for her to see it, if a) it's not too much trouble, and b) you still have it. I should probably add c) if you were the one who posted in the first place. Thanks, yo.

Re: Longwinded is my middle name.

This is a pic of Hyde as a kid\

I've learned that the pic I posted.. perhaps this is the one you referred to - was a Hyde 'look alike'

Eeeh, he's a hyde lookalike? so it's possible that hyde was all dorky in high school with a bad Rachel for a haircut? Thanks for posting it again. *saves*

Re: Longwinded is my middle name.

I thought the colored pic looked a little off from the real Hyde.

Wow! Hyde looks really different as a lil kid. Did he have a few surgeries or did some of his facial features appear through age? His eyes, eyebrows, and nose looks different in that black and white image from his recent look now. Maybe it's just the pixelation too... Meh!

Have you seen the movie?? It's rather good.
In German, the word for "The Day After Tomorrow" is übermorgen (or.. at least that's what I know - it means literally "over morning") Plus it's fun to say XD
I'm just wondering why the Japanese (and German, and anyone else for that matter) didn't call the movie "asatte" or "übermorgen"..? I mean they used to do it with all the other movies -_-;

Yes they did!
http://www.thedayaftertomorrow.com/ - click on the Japanese ^^; you'll see the trailer and whatnot.

& Hugs too!! We don't know yet >_< We're trying very hard to be able to attend it. It's a matter of beating the Canadian system! (so hard.)

In hebrew yesterday is etmol and the day before yesterday is shilshom. Machar is tomorrow and mochrotaiim is the day after tomorrow. There also a word for last night, but I don't remember. Well, my mom had to help me with these because I'm terrible.

Looking at the picture of Tetsu and his food is making me feel even more hungry than I already am ^^;; *is counting the hours until lunch break*

In my native language (Malay), the day after tomorrow is lusa (loo-sah) and the the day before yesterday is kelmarin (kel-mah-reen). The 'e' in 'kel' sounds like the 'e' in 'butter'. Yesterday is semalam (se-mah-lahm), the 'e' similar as above. Tomorrow is esok (e-sok), the 'e' sounds like 'a' in 'cane' and the 'o' in 'sok' is like the 'o' in 'note'. And with that, ends the Malay language class for today ^^

*tries to remember french class*

(beware of my crappy pronunciations, lol)
the day before yesterday would be "avant-hier" (avan-yer)
hmm, yesterday is "hier" (yer)
today is "au'jour d'hui" (aw-joor-dwee or o-joor-dwee)
tommorow is "demain" (de-mahn or de-meh)
the day after tommorow would be "après-demain" (ah-preh demahn) literally 'after tommorow'. or "le jour d'apres demain" literally 'the day that is after tommorow' (but no one says that, heh)

(ps. ken is master of cool in that first pic. tetsu's glasses are so cuuuuute on him!! *steals tetsu's gloves* ^^ and in that third pic, is that his kitcken?)

i'm a pinoy here (filipino). in my native language, the day after tomorrow is "sa makalawa" and it is pronounced as it is. hehe, funny thot. i remember the japanese group "day after tomorrow" when i first saw the trailer of the movie. and a friend and i think that the keyboardist of the band is a look-alike of tetsu(from afar!). well, not really, believe me.
