poke poke poke...
Tuesday I went back to Chez Beaumont for the surgeon to do an Xray & see about removing the biliary tube
I was in a lot of pain ever since my liver stone removal surgery on April 1st - I even had to resort to taking
the percocet I was prescribed in February when this started- it was keeping me up at night.
I tried to drink as much fluid as possible before Tuesday - but it was still an ordeal in civilized torture - the surgeon
had to put in a pic line so he could give me sedation
This morning at my hematologist's office - I only had 4 pokes haha - but at least they color coordinated the attempts
my gosh. I have a simple cold and I feel miserable. I don't know how you stay so cheerful, but you are a rolemodel for positivity. I just wish you didn't have to endure such painful challenges. Feel better.
I'm sorry to hear you're going through so much pain! I hope you'll feel better soon! *hugs*
you look like i have after a round of remicaid. 6 sticks is my top # because it was a friday and they'd have to throw the drug away. sometimes i feel bad that i used to be the one doing all of those pokes. ;( sigh.....what we do to pass the time, eh?
i am so glad you are getting on top of this episode and sincerely hope there are no more. it's good to see a smile on your face, even if it was probably from relief the sticking was done for the day. take care!! :)
We're so sorry to hear you're going through so much agony and hope you will feel better as soon as possible. *hugs*
Achh, Bless you! That's so rough! It's a relief to hear the stone and the tube are out. I hope you're comfortable and recovering beautifully, now.
(I see that once again, as it frequently does, LJ stopped sending me email when you post; it hasn't notified me of your last 3. If you ever happen to try to reach me through LJ and don't hear back, do send me an email.)
