I have an appt with a urologist next Friday - I am trying my luck with the antibiotics my general doc gave me for my never-ending UTI ~ I'll never gain weight if I'm on antibiotics *sigh*

Do any of your medications prohibit you from the traditional home remedies like guzzling cranberry or grapefruit juice allong with plenty of water? I realize those are more effective for bladder infections but... Just wanted to know if you can do that or have already tried.

My samosas turned out delish! the other day. Granted they had beef in them, so I was trying to think of a good substitute for you to use, but I suppose you could better decide that than I. So, in case you'd like to try it sometime, (when you can eat ;n;) here is the general idea (altho not traditional Indian fare by any means):

Cook a pot roast for the night before ( use your imagination)
Marmalade or apricot preserves, choice herb, thyme, chopped onions and carrots (from the previous night's pot roast) simmered with
cooking sherry and vinegar
Cut thawed frozen flakey dough into squares or triangles and place them on greased pan
Drop small portion of meat and then marmalade veggies on top of dough and pinch the sides together to form pyramids
Bake at 380 for about 10-15 minutes or until turning golden
;D careful not to use too much marmalade!

Then finely minced previously cooked
